# Deleting a world

If you already have multiverse installed, you can easily delete a world by using the command:

```
/mv remove <world>
```

Example:

```
/mv remove ColorfulWorld
```

If you’re not using multiverse, you’re still able to delete a world from your server. You’ll need to stop the server first to prevent any corruption that may happen.\
Once the server has stopped, go to your panel, select the correct server, and head over to the File Manager tab.\
Select the box on the world you want to select and make sure the box is now a checkmark and then delete. Once deleted, reboot the server.
